Tom brings 25+ years of experience in the retirement plan services arena to Zuna clients. He began his career with institutional providers of retirement plan record-keeping and investment services. In 2007, he transitioned to owner of a Third Party Administration (TPA) firm based in Eugene, OR; sold in 2021.

Zuna is an excellent opportunity for Tom to leverage past experiences while conducting advisory and consulting services to Employers (Plan Sponsors) and their Employees (Plan Participants).

Tom works with business owners and management to help design, operate and manage a Qualified Plan (401(k), Profit Sharing and/or Cash Balance). Tom believes communication is critical to understanding nuances and complexities of the retirement plan industry, law changes, fiduciary risks and tax-deferral opportunities. But equally important is reduction of unnecessary overhead to simplify management of, and participation in, a retirement plan. Efficiency = Value.

After many great years in the Willamette Valley, Tom now lives in Central Oregon with his wife and two children. Tom enjoys skiing, fishing, playing musical instruments and spending time with family and friends.
